Blogmas Day 17: Holiday Decor

We all know, that the holidays are coming up! For some, it's the happiest time of the year, but for others, the humbugs, well, you get the idea. Some of you humbugs, or maybe some of you are really busy, and are finding yourself rushing to do last-minute-decorating, well have no fear! I am here!

I have spent a LOT of time on Pinterest digging around for the best holiday decor. So, here you have, Holiday Decor Ideas!

GINGERBREAD HOUSE: Gingerbread Houses are a GREAT holiday decor item! You can never have too many. PLUS, they are easy to put together. Buy a kit, or make your own! You can find cheap kits at Costco for around $9.99

CANDLE IN PEPPERMINT: Here is a quick, simple way, to easily add a touch of the holidays. Grab a pack of red & green peppermint candies. Fill them in a candle jar/vase, and add a candle. Light it up & enjoy!

LYRICAL DECOR: This one, should be a bit self-explanatory, by looking at the picture. You'll need a picture frame, that will allow you to insert objects into it, bells (All silver except for 2 red), holiday scrapbook paper, and a wall decal quote from a holiday song. You get the idea?

WELCOME SHOVEL: Here is a fun, festive way, to greet your guests. For the snow shovel, check at any local thrift stores/ second-hand stores for a cheap "rustic" look. You can also try your local junk yard. Now for the message, you can choose to paint your lettering, or find a wall decal.

HANGING DOOR SNOWMAN: Here is another festive way to greet your guests. You'll need twine, a scarf, bells, white spray paint, nails and/or command hooks, and a black top-hat. Take the rounds of twine, and pull out several pieces from each round. Use the strands you pull out, to tie around the rounds. Then spray paint each. Use your nails or command hooks, to hang the snowman to the door & add the accessories!

I hope, that these few ideas, will help you start your holiday decorating! Remember, to leave comments below on any blog ideas that you may have! Happy Holidays!
