I've claimed my blog on bloglovin', but as some of you may know, you have to post a code into a new post.

<a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/11413505/?claim=qrkkb75uqct">Follow my blog with Bloglovin</a>

I've also decided, to turn this into an Outfit Of The Week!

I tried putting what day of the week each was, below it, but my computer is very messed up & wouldn't let me.

Just know, that #1 is Monday & #5 is Friday. You should be able to figure the others out, right?

Blogger Interview - Olivia Foster!

Hello Girls! So, the other day, when I got on to my email, I saw an email from this girl named Olivia Foster. She was wanting me to do an Interview Swap with her! Before I explain what an interview swap is, I just want to say, I LOVE getting emails, so even if you just want to say Hi, feel free to email me at any time!

Okay, so an Interview Swap is simple.

Olivia picked 5 questions. She asked me them & she gave me her answers. Then, I picked 5 questions & did the same.

Here, I have her Answers & to see mine, you will need to go to her blog {ItsOliviaFoster}!

Let's get started!

Question One
Why did you start blogging? After sticking around the Internet for a while a soon realized that some of my favourite people have blogs! I started searching up blogs, and then clicking on tons of blog buttons and I decided that soon it was time for me to get my own one!

Question Two
Who are your top three bloggers to read and top three YouTubers to watch? My top three bloggers would have to be Danielle from Kanielemegumi, Zoe from Zoella and Charlotte from Sharlotte. For YouTubers I would pick Jackie from Jackie Wyres, Tyler from Tyler Oakley and Ingrid from MissGlamorazzi.

Question Three
Why is your blog name what it is right now? Well, I honestly couldn't think of a good blog name so I just used my full name instead to save me from the trouble!

Question Four
If you WiFi didn't exist what would you do? Errh, obviously try to be the first to invent WiFi!

Question Five
If your life was a movie, what movie would it be and why? It would probably be a comedy, I'm going to be real my life is hilarious! I have such good friends! We take pictures in class and then post them on Instagram we eat and drink in class when we aren't supposed to and we cheat sometimes in tests! WOW, I made myself sound like a great person! LOL!

Question Six
Who is you inspiration? I have so many for different reasons so I can't really name just one!

Question Seven
If you could go back in time to see your ancestors, or into the future, to see your grandchildren, which would you choose? I would see my ancestors because, if you wait, you will soon see your grandchildren, but you are almost never going back to the past!

Question Eight
Do you believe in supernatural creatures? I believe in aliens, I believe in ghosts, but I only believe ghosts as a kind spirit, not some one who will haunt you.

Question Nine
If you could date any person - dead or alive - who would it be? Uhm, I don't really know to be honest! I was never the child to have crushes and I still don'!

Question Ten
If you could shape-shift, who or what, would you become? I would want to become a swan, because it can fly and swim, so I could fly and see what it would be like and I could also swim underwater forever! That would be pretty awesome!

That's all! Thank you Olivia, for choosing me to do this with you! I had a lot of fun doing it, especially with coming up with my 5 questions!

Important Update!

Hello girls. I have something very important to tell all of you.

Today is my last day posting. For awhile.

Don't worry though, it's only temporary. Very soon, I will be getting a new design for my blog & I hope to be able to change the name.

I feel, that in order to do these things, I need to take a short break, otherwise it might get too hectic.

I hope, that none of you are made at me for doing what I have to do, but really I am only doing it for all of you, my followers, and my potential followers.

You can still always email & all of that good stuff, but I just won't be posting.

This will last about a month, but until then, I love you all!

Xoxo,
Macy

Permanent Fixtures: LilliesAndLipBalm | Guest Blogger

I have a special treat for you girls today! As you might've been able to tell, from the title, I have another guest blogger! Today, I have a beauty blogger, who goes by the screen-name lilliesandlipbalm. Her name is Melanie, her she is, with her permanent fixtures, or must-haves!

As a beauty blogger, I’m forever changing up my routines for my hair, skin and makeup – I just can’t resist trying out new releases, hyped-up products and special offers.  However, no matter how many products come and go through my routine, there are always a couple of pieces you’ll always find in my stash (and maybe a couple of back-ups).

Although it’s a bit of a boring subject, Mitchum Advanced Control anti perspirant is without a doubt the best in the business.  For years I just picked up whatever was on offer, regardless of its brand, formulation or form, but since trying this, nothing has come close.  It smells good but doesn’t overpower perfumes, it keeps me sweat free for hours under any circumstances, and it’s a bargain.  A definite must-have.

Oily hair requires a dry shampoo otherwise half of your life will be spent washing, drying and styling your Barnett.  Batiste has been my go-to brand of choice since beginning to use dry shampoos, and I still love it.  I’ve moved through the scents and am currently going for blush – a fruity, girly, floral scent.  The white cast is easy to disperse with a bit of rubbing and brushing, and it leaves my hair refreshed and smelling good.

Everyone loves a bit of Soap and Glory, and Hand Food is one of their best selling products.  It’s a sweet smelling hand cream that sinks into your skin quickly without leaving a horrid residue on your palms making it impossible to open jars for the rest of the day.  I love popping this on overnight to soften my hands and keep my nail beds in good condition.

Lately Effaclar Duo has become a bit of a hyped product in the blogosphere, and it’s no wonder.  La Roche Posay’s moisturising serum combats imperfections, rids the skin of blemishes and works towards reducing pore size.  It has made a huge difference to my acne-prone skin and if I ever stop using it for a few days I definitely notice my skin getting worse.

Makeup-wise, Seventeen’s Miracle Matte powder is my go-to for banishing shine from my oily skin and setting my base.  I always have at least three of these in my stash – one in my every-day makeup bag, one in my handbag and a back-up.  Applying this with the Real Techniques Powder Brush leaves a natural matte finish which isn’t too cakey.  The only other makeup products I’ve repurchased time and time again is L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes mascara.  After an initial recommendation from my mum, I’ve fallen in love with this little beauty, and no matter how many other mascaras find their way into my stash, I always find myself going back to this one!

I’d love to know what makeup products you swear by in the comments! Read my opinions on an endless amount of other beauty products on my blog (www.lilliesandlipbalm.blogspot.com) or tweet me @lillieslipbalm

Thank you Melanie, for starring as a guest on my blog, and be sure you check her blog out! If YOU would like to be a guest on my blog, please see my 'Guest Blogging' Page! I'm looking for a guest blogger, to do the 'I Love Spring Tag' with me on March 20th. Email me if interested!

7 Websites Every Girl Should Know About!

Hello Glam Girls! Today, I have put together a list of my top 7 websites, that I think every girl should know about! I'm not going to make a big long into, because I want to just get started! Enjoy!

Useful Websites

*In no particular order

{1} sammydress.com This has been one of my favorite websites for a long time. My mom actually introduced it to me! It's an online store. They have just about anything you can imagine, and the prices are great! I've seen on there, combat boots for $10. I looked up the brand, and they were originally $75! Such good deals!

{2} Polyvore.com This website, is actually what I use to make most of my pictures, such as the one above. If you actually click on this picture, it should take you to my profile. (If you click on any older pictures, you will get my 2nd account, that I use for a Facebook Page. I just recently made the account that I use for my blogs.)

{3} poshly.com This website is AMAZING! It's a website for giveaways. What you do, is make an account, and to enter in any of the giveaways, you simply click on the item, and answer a few questions. It's that easy! When you answer the questions, it helps poshly, to decide what items to giveaway! I actually almost won the Naked 3 Palette about a month ago.

{4} spotify.com (They also have an app) Spotify is so cool, because it's music & the music is free. Some sites out there, that let you listen to music for free, don't let you go back to a certain song, or pick the song you want to play, but with spotify you can! You can also create playlists! Be sure to follow me on there! My username is glamgirl029

{5} webmd.com this website is so cool, because it can give you a diagnosis. Just follow the instructions!

{6} supercook.com Type in the ingredients you have on hand, and it will give you a variety of recipes to use! Very helpful, if those groceries in your fridge are about to expire, and you don't have any idea what to make with them!
{7} slader.com This a good website for homework help. Find your textbook, and you can find your answers. Please don't use this to cheat. Only use it, to check your answers.

Another good school one, is quizlet.com

I hope these websites are as much help for you, as they are for me! Do you have any websites, that you would like to share with us girls? Just comment them below, or e-mail them to me, and I can make a part 2!

DIY Nail Polish: Steps

Please read all directions BEFORE attempting!

DIY Nail Polish: Steps

{1} Using your toothpick, scrape out your shadow, onto a paper plate.

{2} Break it up, into powder. Then, roll your paper plate into a funnel shape (you could use an actual funnel), pour the shadow into the clear nail polish.

{3} Stir the shadow around with the toothpick, until the shadow is fully dissolved, or overtaken, or whatever you want to call it.

Shake the nail polish, for better effect.

{4} For a less pigmented polish, use less shadow. For more pigmentation, use more shadow. Less = More Coats
More = Less Coats

You get the idea? Share how yours turned out with me!

Shopaholic Tag + Guest Blogger!

Hello Glam Girls! Today, I have my first guest blogger! I had thought, that I wouldn't have today's guest blogger on for about another week, but I made it work.

That also means, that yes, I was planning on having other guest bloggers before her, but you will have to wait for them!

I am always looking for guest bloggers, so if you are interested, then please see the 'Guest Bloggers' tab!

Before we get started with the tag, I'd like to let her introduce herself. Here is Taylor!

Hello there! I'd like to introduce myself to you all! My name is Taylor, and I have a blog called What Taylor Buys. My blog is a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle blog which has a variety of fun and well detailed posts. I write OOTD's, tags, product reviews, wishlists, tutorials, and hauls. I am so thrilled to be guest blogging for Macy today for two reasons; firstly, I love Macy's blog, and secondly this is my first time doing a guest blog. So please comment down below, if you think I have done a good job! And please take a look at my blog {whattaylorbuys}

Okay, so it's Macy again! I just want to thank Taylor for guest blogging with me! I absolutely love having guest bloggers! If you want to be a guest blogger for me, then see the 'guest blogger' tab! Now, let's get started!

{1} Would you consider yourself a shopaholic?

Taylor: 100%! Whenever I get some sort of money, I go out shopping! No matter what price the product is, I will buy it. I never ever know my limit, and I can't go shopping without buying something. My mum always tells me not to buy something for the sake of it, but I am so addicted. Hopefully I will grow out of it with age, let's all hope so!
Macy: I hope you do grow out of it Taylor, it could get really bad when you're older. :) I am definitely a shopaholic too, but neither my family or I can afford to buy everything we want, so I definitely have to be careful when shopping. When I do go shopping though, I'm liking passing by everything and I'm like 'Oooh I want that!' or 'I NEED that' or 'I don't have those shoes/shirt/pants/scarf in THAT color!' Lol :D

{2} How would you classify your style?
Taylor: Confusing. I wear anything and everything. I range from girly, pink and pastel clothing to dark and vampy colours. I don’t really have a certain style as I like to think I am always changing what’s in my wardrobe. I don’t really have a fashion sense either, most my friends say I either look like someone’s granny or I look extremely butch!
Macy: I'm the same, except my friends don't say I look like a granny. Haha! Although, I don't really have a set style. I like anything from casual, classy, bohemian, girly, exc,. The only thing I've really stayed away from, is goth.

{3} What store can you not leave without buying something?
Taylor: Topshop! Who could refuse the 3 for £8 socks or the jewellery, actually anything there? It is all so lovely and it’s not cheap which does leave a large hole in my pocket.

Macy: Well, where I live, we don't have very good shopping, so it's kind of hard. We also have way more boutiques than anyone else, that are waaay more expensive than department stores such as Macy's or Nordstroms. If I had to pick, I would say Target or Ross, just because they are really cheap, and we just recently got a little boutique at our mall, and everything is under $10.99! It's waaay cheap & good quality too!

{4} Where do you find the best deals?
Taylor: Primark, I always seem to get an amazing discount in there as I cheekily chat up this one male worker there which helps a lot, how bad of me! But in all seriousness, they have amazing dupes of Topshop and Zara clothing for much cheaper. I mean the quality might not be as good but ah well.
Macy: I've never heard of that store. Must just be in the UK? I think that I find the best deals at Ross, Target, sometimes TJ Maxx, or that boutique I was talking about. So specific right?

{5} What designer are you willing to splurge for?
Taylor: I will splurge for anything! I am currently saving for a Pandora birthstone ring, a Michael Kors watch, I am loving the Celine Paris bag (which is way too ambitious for me, but we can try) and Chanel makeup is definitely up there.
Macy: I'm like Taylor. I usually save for what I want. I do actually have a system, that helps me save money & later on, I'd love to do a post about it if you guys want me to! I just make sure, that if I'm splurging for it, it's something I will absolutely love.

{6} Do you have a 'Go to' shopping outfit?
Taylor: Usually something comfortable, definitely not any sort of high heeled boot or shoe as my feet will ache so much. I also wear something which are much easier to take on and off in changing rooms so probably a jumper and leggings. Oh and never a large coat because it gets extremely hot when shopping and you don’t want to be carrying that around!
Macy: No. I just wear what is not only comfortable, but also cute. I mean seriously. What if I see a cute guy?! When I'm shopping, I usually spend the entire day. Like from 9-5. I'm also like Taylor, not wanting to wear a big coat. My mall usually gets so freeking hot, but in the winter & it's raining it's usually really cold in the food court area! :/

{7} What is your guilty pleasure? (Not including makeup)
Taylor: Shoes! I own so many shoes which I never wear. I have many heels which I never wear, I always seem to wear the same pair of black boots for Primark.
Macy: Definitely shoes! I mean, they are so expensive too! The problem for me, is that I don't have a big enough closet, so I can't exactly buy a ton, which is absolutely HORRIBLE for me!

{8} What is one staple piece of clothing you can't live without?
Taylor: A white jersey tee, they got with everything and can be transformed into different outfits. They can go with pastel outfits or vampy outfits. I love wearing them with a gold chain necklace.
Macy: I would say tank tops or plain T-shirts. They both are hands-down great to have. They're also a great for day to night outfits. In the day, wear them with a pair of shorts and flip flops, and in the night, and some statement necklaces, some more jewelry, and skinny jeans & heels, to make a perfect going-out outfit. Unlees you're planning on staying home, then wear those pajama pants & slippers!

{9} What is a trend, that you hope never goes out of fashion?
Taylor: This is hard, I think everything eventually comes back into fashion all time. I love peter pan collared shirts and pastels.
Macy: OMG! This is soo hard! Ummm... There have been some great trend, especially this past year. I don't think I can pick. I can't do it. I can't pick.

{10} What trend did you love so much that passed away so quickly?
Taylor: Ooooo I am not sure, that is a tricky question.  I did like the cargo trousers which other people spoke about, because I missed out on them too.
Macy: I'm not sure either. Some of these questions have been soo hard! You know, I do sort of miss the jean skirts. You don't see too many people wearing them, and I remember when I was little, wearing them & watching Zoey 101, seeing all of them wearing them. Occasionally, I do watch re-runs of Zoey 101, and I do miss them.

{11} Who is your fashion icon?
Taylor: I have a wide range. I like Alexa Chung, Kim Kardashian, Cara Delevingne, Fearne Cotton, Ellie Goulding, Emma Willis, Kylie Jenner and Emma Watson. Quite a lot!
Macy: You know, I don't really have a fashion icon that is a celebrity. Most of them are youtubers or bloggers. If I had to pick a celebrity, I would pick any of the Pretty Little Liars girls, or.... I'm not sure Haha!
All 3 pictures used in between questions, were from google. The first picture was NOT.

I hope you all enjoyed reading this tag as much as I enjoyed writing it. I love writing tags so so much! If you would like to see more posts like this then check out my blog, I have wrote a variety of tags!
