My Fitness Routine: Winter Edition + Workout Essentials & What I wear!

We all know, that with the holidays just about over, and that also means that most of the eating is about over with!

A perfect time to work away that 10 pounds you gained right?

I'm going to start with what I wear.

{1} Activewear Hoody
{2} Yoga Pants
{3} Sports Bra
{4} Tennis Shoes

Keep in mind, that above ^ isn't the EXACT clothes I wear. I just found what was closest to what I wear. The colors also vary, to match each other.

Here is my bag. I got it at Claire's over the summer.

What I keep in it:
{1} EOS Lip Balm
{2} Bath & Body Works Hand Lotion
{3} Hair Ties
{4} Monthly Girl Supplies
{5} Tide-To-Go Pen
{6} Snack Bar
{7} Bottled Water
{8} Phone
{9} Earbuds
{10} Sweatshirt
{11} Sometimes a book or something for when I'm done or while I'm running

Let's get on to the actual workout. I do the 100 workout during the winter. I don't feel like that is efficient enough though, so I add a couple extra things.

{1} Jog for 10 minutes. I start with jogging, to warm my body up.
{2} Stretching.
 • Touch my toes
 • Calves
 • Quads
 • Arms (Across)
 • Arms (Behind)
 • Hamstring
 • Back
{3} 100 Jumping Jacks
{4} 90 Crunches
{5} 80 Squats
{6} 70 Leg Lifts
{7} 60 Jumping Jacks
{8} 50 Crunches
{9} 40 Squats
{10} 30 Leg Lifts
{11} 20 Jumping Jacks
{12} RUN for 10 minutes. Don't jog. You may be exhausted, but trust me. You need to run
{13} Lastly, to cool off I repeat the stretches.

This is my exercise routine. I do it every weekday, take Saturday off (usually), on Sunday I do this twice (usually).

I hope you enjoyed! Let me know YOUR exercise routine by sending me a comment (see sidebar)

New Year's Eve Essentials!

Here you have, your New Year's Eve Necessities!

New Year's Eve Essentials!

{0} Handbag or Clutch. Do not use a purse, because you won't want to carry that big old thing around with you. The one I have here, is a FRANCHI champagne cluth with gold studs

{1} Girl Supplies. Wether this be tampons or pads, be prepared.

{2} Visine or other eye drops. Once it starts getting late, you don't want your appearance to be ruined. Just add a couple drops to each eye & party on!

{3} Baby Lips, or other lip mosturizer/chap stick. We do not want dry lips!

{4} Bobby Pins. Do I need to explain?

{5} Compact Mirror. Again. Do I need to explain? You could get an eyelash in your eye, want to check on your hair, or see how you look.

{6} Perfume. You always want to smell good! The one I have here is someday by- you guessed it. Justin Bieber. In the travel size of course.

{7} Camera! Duh! Who wants to forget such an important night. I wouldn't recommend bringing a Canon Rebel T3i that you just got for Christmas.

{8} Oil Blotting Wipes. Nobody likes oily faces! Yuck!

{9} Hair ties. I like these ones made out of fabric, because there is a less chance of damaging your hair when using these compared to regular ones. Some of you may also be wondering why you would ruin your hair, by putting it up. Well, what if you're dancing, or it gets really hot wherever you're at. Gotta do something.

{10} Fashion/ Lingerie Tape. Don't let your outfit become ruined.

{11} Blush. Just for touch-ups.

{12} Lipstick. Again. For touch-ups.

{13} Band-aids. You never know when they might come in handy! Especially if you're planning on wearing heels ALL night!

{14} Mascara! You don't want to use your eyedrops & then have your mascara run away!

What are YOUR New Year's Eve Essentials?

Important Announcement!

Hello lovely glam girls! Today, I have a very important announcement!
So important, that I needed to post twice today, instead of my usual once a day!

Since you're going to guess what this announcement is all about in a minute or so, I'm just going to come out with it!

I'm looking for girls, to start a collab blog!

Yes, you heard me right. Below in the picture, I have some rules listed, but I'd like to talk about them more in depth.

Collab Blog

The RULES & STUFF
- I am looking for 5 or 6 girls. I would like to have one girl for each day of the week, so there can be a new post each day, but if I can only find 5 girls, I can still work with it.

- I am going to be holding what I like to call 'auditions' and I will talk about that more later, but before you audition, you need to have experience. I'm not talking about you started your blog yesterday. I'm talking about, that you've been at this, for at least 6 months. Preferably longer.

-You need to have 20+ followers. It's obvious, if you're blog has been up since 2010, but you only have 3 maybe 4 followers, that you're doing something wrong. I need people with at least 20 followers, but I'd prefer more.

-If you're accepted into the collab, you need to be on at least once a week. For sure, when it is your day to post, but also if we do a day, where I have all of the girls on the same post. I'll explain how that'd work later.

-You need to be able to get us followers. I'm not going to do this, if I'm the only one trying to get followers, and if that is the case, I will delete the blog.

Some ways to get us followers include (but are not limited to) mentioning us on your blog. Tell your followers, that you joined a collab blog, and they should check it out, if they want to see more of you. Social media. Meaning facebook, twitter, instagram, exc.

-You HAVE to follow the rules. If you don't I will replace you, but if it's happening with more than one girl, I will just take down the blog.

You also need to be okay with my rules. Meaning you won't argue, if you don't like a rule.

-Lastly, you need to BE COMMITED. This is sooo important. I can't have you on say Monday to post, and every Monday, you just flake out. It's not right for you to do that to not only me, but also the other girls that could use that time for themselves, and also to our followers.

Those are the rules for entering. When, and if you are accepted, I will give you a list of separate rules, that are more in depth. Now, I bet you're wondering how and when you can audition?

Well...

TO AUDITION...

Fun Fact Friday #1

Fun Fact Friday #1

Fun Fact Friday #1

Yes, I am arachnaphobic. I know, that you're probably not too impressed with this fact, because a lot of people are scared of spiders, but only few people are arachnaphobic.

I can't even look at a picture of a spider, a dead spider, or nothing.

I just hate the way they move & the way they look.

Not to mention, I've had 1 too many spider bites while I'm sleeping! :(

What is your Triple F for the day?

Blogmas Day 17: Holiday Decor

We all know, that the holidays are coming up! For some, it's the happiest time of the year, but for others, the humbugs, well, you get the idea. Some of you humbugs, or maybe some of you are really busy, and are finding yourself rushing to do last-minute-decorating, well have no fear! I am here!

I have spent a LOT of time on Pinterest digging around for the best holiday decor. So, here you have, Holiday Decor Ideas!

GINGERBREAD HOUSE: Gingerbread Houses are a GREAT holiday decor item! You can never have too many. PLUS, they are easy to put together. Buy a kit, or make your own! You can find cheap kits at Costco for around $9.99

CANDLE IN PEPPERMINT: Here is a quick, simple way, to easily add a touch of the holidays. Grab a pack of red & green peppermint candies. Fill them in a candle jar/vase, and add a candle. Light it up & enjoy!

LYRICAL DECOR: This one, should be a bit self-explanatory, by looking at the picture. You'll need a picture frame, that will allow you to insert objects into it, bells (All silver except for 2 red), holiday scrapbook paper, and a wall decal quote from a holiday song. You get the idea?

WELCOME SHOVEL: Here is a fun, festive way, to greet your guests. For the snow shovel, check at any local thrift stores/ second-hand stores for a cheap "rustic" look. You can also try your local junk yard. Now for the message, you can choose to paint your lettering, or find a wall decal.

HANGING DOOR SNOWMAN: Here is another festive way to greet your guests. You'll need twine, a scarf, bells, white spray paint, nails and/or command hooks, and a black top-hat. Take the rounds of twine, and pull out several pieces from each round. Use the strands you pull out, to tie around the rounds. Then spray paint each. Use your nails or command hooks, to hang the snowman to the door & add the accessories!

I hope, that these few ideas, will help you start your holiday decorating! Remember, to leave comments below on any blog ideas that you may have! Happy Holidays!

Blogmas Day 16: Holiday Gift Guide Under $20

During this time of the year, some of us tend to have too big of a family, or just too many friends! Who am I kidding! You can never have too many friends! That is unless you have a small wallet. You know what I mean? Today, I have put to together a holiday gift guide full of gifts under $20!

A few of these, would even make great stocking stuffers!

{1} A Lily Pulitzer Travel Coffee Mug! If you want coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate, or warm apple cider, this travel mug is the way to go! It is also $15 at lifeguardpress.com

{3} Personalized Monogrammed Note Pad! $16 on etsy.com isn't a bad deal, for this cute notepad!

This kit includes (but is not limited to) hairspray, tampons, hair ties, earring backs, and nail polish remover! Such a great price too! $16 at henribendel.com

{7} Eos Lip Balm! Of course, you don't have to buy the Blueberry Acai! You could buy any flavor that you want! May I suggest the holiday pack? On the website I found, they are $9.81, but you can buy them at Target and Walmart for about $3

{8} Neo Noir Long-Wear Eyeliner Pen. I think this is self-explanatory. $20 at neimanmarcus.com

{9} Winter 2013 Essie Nail Polish Cube Collection! You can purchase this set at ulta.com for $17! This is hands-down a great deal, because Essie nail polish is normally about $9

Blogmas Days 4-10: OOTD, Getting Through 2 more Weeks of School, and Christmas Carols!

I know, that I had said I was going to end Blogmas on New Year's Eve, but to be honest...
It's throwing me off.
I'd rather be with everybody else, so it doesn't confuse me.
So, I combined as much as I could & I caught up!

There are 2 weeks left of school, until I finally- have 2 weeks off! It can't come soon enough!
I know, to pass the time during class & at home, I'm going to be doing a lot of reading & spending a lot of time on the computer!

It really works! Try it!

Here is my outfit from yesterday (Monday, December 9, 2013):

Tank Top: Wetseal
Shirt: American Eagle Outfitters
Jeans: Miss Me in Black & Silver Snowflake
Shoes: Dark Brown Uggs

Here is a list of my top 3 favorite Christmas Carols & the lyrics for them!

{1} Jingle Bells

Dashing through the snow
 In a one-horse open sleigh
 O'er the fields we go
 Laughing all the way
 Bells on bobtail ring
 Making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing
 A sleighing song tonight!

 (chorus)
 Jingle bells, jingle bells,
 Jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride
 In a one-horse open sleigh.
 Jingle bells, jingle bells,
 Jingle all the way;
Oh! what fun it is to ride
 In a one-horse open sleigh.

A day or two ago
 I thought I'd take a ride
 And soon, Miss Fanny Bright
 Was seated by my side,
The horse was lean and lank
 Misfortune seemed his lot
He got into a drifted bank
 And then we got upsot.
: chorus:

A day or two ago,
 The story I must tell
I went out on the snow,
 And on my back I fell;
 A gent was riding by
 In a one-horse open sleigh,
He laughed as there I sprawling lie,
 But quickly drove away.
: chorus:
Now the ground is white
 Go it while you're young,
 Take the girls tonight
 and sing this sleighing song;
 Just get a bobtailed bay
 Two forty as his speed
Hitch him to an open sleigh
And crack! you'll take the lead.
: chorus:
{2} I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus

I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus.
Underneath the mistletoe last night.
She didn't see me creep
Down the stairs to have a peep;
She thought that I was tucked up
In my bedroom fast asleep.

Then I saw Mommy tickle Santa Claus
Underneath his beard so snowy white;
Oh, what a laugh it would've been
If Daddy had only seen
Mommy kissing Santa Claus last night.

I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus.
Underneath the mistletoe last night.
She didn't see me creep
Down the stairs to have a peep;
She thought that I was tucked up
In my bedroom fast asleep.

Then I saw Mommy tickle Santa Claus
Underneath his beard so snowy white;
Oh, what a laugh it would've been
If Daddy had only seen
Mommy kissing Santa Claus last night
Mommy kissing Santa Claus last night...
Last Night

{3} Deck The Halls

Deck the halls with boughs of holly,
fa la la la la, la la la la
Tis' the season to be jolly,
fa la la la la, la la la la

Don we now are gay apparel,
fa la la la la, la la la la
Troll the ancient Yule tide carol,
fa la la la la, la la la la

See the blazing Yule before us,
fa la la la la, la la la la
Strike the harp and join the chorus,
fa la la la la, la la la la

Follow me in merry measure,
fa la la la la, la la la la
While I tell of Yule tide treasure,
fa la la la la, la la la la

Fast away the old year passes,
fa la la la la, la la la la
Hail the new, ye lads and lasses,
fa la la la la, la la la la

Sing we joyous all together,
fa la la la la, la la la la
heedless of the wind and weather,
fa la la la la, la la la la

7 Ways To Stay Warm!

I know it's not winter, but it has been very very cold. Especially where I live. It's usually always cold, but it's EXTREMELY cold for my area.

I thought I would give you some tips on how to stay warm! (This was requested)

{1} Use Hand warmers/ Toe Warmers. You can purchase these at Costco & they really do work.
{2} Wear knitted head bands. When you wear knitted headbands, make sure they cover the tips of your ears. 95% of your body heat escaped through your head & feet.
{3} Wear Uggs or similar boots. You want shoes that are thick enough that the heat your feet have built up doesn't escape.
{4} Wear Pullover sweatshirts rather than zip up. This is because most pullovers have a pocket that goes all the way through. This way, both hand warmers are heating up both hands.
{5} Drink tea, hot chocolate, coffee, or hot apple cider (hot apple juice works the same) Warm drinks actually do heat you up.
{6} Cuddle up with a blanket & a good book in front of a fireplace/heater.
{7} Wear fuzzy socks and/or slipers

I know some of these sound like no-brainers, but HEY! It's what works best for me! Hope you enjoyed & be sure to tell me what your favorite ways to stay warm are, by leaving me a comment!

How To Prevent Acne: 5 Tips!

This was a requested topic, so I thought I would give you some tips on how to prevent acne!

Keep in mind, that I'm not a scientist or doctor, and my skin isn't COMPLETELY clear. I do get a few pimple here & there.

{1} Wash your face with a cleanser at night ONLY. There is no need for using chemicals on your face in the morning, when it is 95% free of bacteria. When you use a cleanser or anything type of face wash on your face 2 times a day, it irritates your face. You need to give it a break.

{2} BEFORE using a face wash, wash your face with the old-fashioned wash cloth & water. You should use this method in the morning also. AFTER using a cleanser/face wash, be sure to rinse your face off with water COMPLETELY. You don't want the chemicals left on your face, damaging your skin.

{3} If possible, try using an all natural cleanser more often than not. Check your local whole foods store for natural products, but be sure to read the directions before using.

{4} Now, this one may be hard, but every night, sleep on the opposite side of your pillow as you did the night before. When you sleep on the same side of your pillow every night, the oil from your face build up. Then, when your face is clean, you are rubbing your face on the oil.

Every night before you go to bed, be sure to flip your pillow over. A good way to keep track of which side you last slept on, is get a pillow that has 2 different patterns on each side.

{5} Be sure to use Oil-Free Cleansers. Even if you have dry skin, you don't want to add more oil to your skin. Especially if you wear makeup, you really want a oil-free cleanser.
